Funerals

The death of someone you love is one of life’s most difficult times. We can support you at this challenging time.

A Church of England funeral is available for all; we conduct the funerals of those who lived in the parish or had a connection to the parish. Funerals can take place either in church or at a local crematorium.

Funerals conducted by us provide the opportunity to:

• pray for your loved one
• commend the deceased to God
• provide an opportunity for reflection and thanksgiving
• mourn your loss

A service is held each year in at St Michael’s Bassingham in All Souls’-tide ( the beginning of November) which gives us the opportunity to remember those who have died, and you would be very welcome to attend that. Details are published nearer the time.
