Our Churches

We have all been affected by the Covid pandemic and this has altered our church life, too. As part of the Lincoln Diocese’s Resourcing Sustainable Churches scheme, along with all parishes in the diocese, we have had to look at how we use our churches.

Our three Community Churches are St Michael’s Church Bassingham, St Mary’s Church Carlton le Moorland, and Witham St Hugh’s. Here you will find regular Sunday services, the Occasional Offices ( Christenings, Weddings and Funerals) and the activities we normally associate with parish churches.

St Peter’s Church, Aubourn, St Germain’s Church, Thurlby, St Peter’s Church, Norton Disney, & All Saints Church, Stapleford are now classified as Festival Churches. In these churches there will be a few services of Holy Communion and they will be available for the Occasional Offices, special festival and community events.

Every effort is made to live stream all Communion Services.
