As you know our Rector, the Revd Dee Freeman, has now retired. Dee has made a tremendous impact on the Withamside United Parish over the past five years. We are very sad to lose her and her husband Michael who also worked hard to support the life of the Parish.

The Withamside United Parish now moves into what is known as an interregnum. We will probably not get a new Rector for some time. However, our worship of God and our care for each other in our communities continues. We have re-introduced a pattern of services which now includes a Morning Prayer each month and Communion services at Thurlby and Norton Disney once a month on a rota basis between the two churches. Please look very carefully at the services for the month to ensure that you do not miss the ones you wish to attend.

There are certainly challenges ahead but we have a faithful team of people who will do their best to ensure that the life of the Church continues to meet the needs of our local communities and that the Christian message and the love of Christ is made available to all.

All the main contacts for the Withamside United Parish are listed so please do not hesitate to contact any of us if you have a particular need or enquiry.
